In other news, I dismantled a few old paintings recently to reuse the stretcher bars. Moral of the story: always work fat over lean in oils. Otherwise whole layers of paint flake right off. I desperately want to make a new painting about this pile of paint bits... but that will probably have to wait until after my thesis shows. Stay tuned for exciting new paintings, coming soon! :)
